Miles of Love, Steps of Hope
Before sunrise in a small town in Sichuan, Yu Xukang begins a journey powered not by convenience — but by love.   At 5 a.m., he prepares a simple meal, then gently lifts his 12-year-old son, Xiao Qiang, into a basket on his back. Though Xiao was born with physical challenges, his mind shines bright, filled with dreams of learning.

When schools turned him away, one finally opened its doors — 4.5 miles away. So every day, his father walks that long road. There and back. Again and again.
Miles became months. Months became years. And today, Xiao stands at the top of his class.

Because when a father carries his son… he’s also carrying his future.
