Teen Student Gives Birth to Triplets at Kamuli Mission Hospital Amid Uncertain Future

At just 15 years old, Jamawa Babirye faced a moment that would change her life forever.  On the night of August 27, 2012, she delivered three tiny miracles — two boys and a girl — by Caesarean section at Kamuli Mission Hospital. Weighing only 2.5, 1.9 and 1.3 kg, the babies were small, yet full of fragile strength.

Left without support and under pressure to give up her pregnancy, Jamawa chose courage over fear.  Despite rejection and uncertainty, she protected the lives growing inside her.

Today, hospital staff and community members stand beside her, offering clothes, prayers and hope.

Her journey is not just about hardship — it’s about resilience, compassion, and a young mother determined to fight for her children’s future.
