Choosing Faith Over Fear

Choosing Faith Over Fear

Today, fear feels very real. The word high-risk echoes in my mind, heavy and impossible to ignore. There are moments when uncertainty tightens its grip, when the future feels fragile and unknown. But even here—lying between worry and waiting—I am choosing faith.

Faith does not mean the absence of fear. It means standing beside it and moving forward anyway. It means trusting that strength can exist even when hands are shaking, and hope can survive even when answers are unclear. Every breath becomes a quiet prayer. Every moment of courage is a small victory.

I am learning that kindness has power. A simple “good luck,” a whispered prayer, a thought sent with love—these are not small things. They remind me that I am not alone, that light still reaches the darkest hours.

This journey is not just about surgery. It is about believing that no matter the outcome, faith can carry me through fear—and turn it into strength.
