“Get out! They’re shooting!” His voice rang through the cafeteria, guiding over 200 terrified students to safety. He stood as a human shield, placing himself directly in the line of fire so his students could have a tomorrow.
Even after being shot, his spirit refused to break. For four agonizing hours, he lay in a classroom, bleeding out while students desperately held a sign to the window: “1 BLEEDING TO DEATH.”   Though help arrived too late for him, his sacrifice ensured that hundreds of families remained whole.
