Islamic Movement Protests in Lagos Over Iran Invasion
In the early hours of March 2, members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) in Southwest Nigeria took to the streets of Maryland, Lagos, in a peaceful yet powerful demonstration.
They condemned what they described as the invasion of Iran and the reported killing of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei following U.S. and Israeli strikes.
Chanting prayers and holding banners, protesters called for justice, sovereignty, and respect for international law.
While the rally remained calm, its emotional weight echoed far beyond Lagos. Authorities have yet to confirm whether the protest has spread to other regions.
