In September 2020, 19-year-old Angel Lynn was abducted by her boyfriend, Chay Bowskill, after an argument in Mountsorrel. CCTV showed her being forced into a van. Moments later, she fell onto the A6 at 60 mph. The crash left her with devastating brain injuries, paralyzed and needing constant care.
