Ugandan Teacher Welcomes Quintuplets After Beating Cancer & 22 Years of Infertility
In Kampala’s Naalya, 45-year-old teacher Nakato’s home now rings with the cries of five miracles: Rhoda, Rowena, Rodney, Raymond, and Rachael Kirabo — Uganda’s first IVF-conceived quintuplets!

After 22 years of infertility , a breast cancer battle (left mastectomy in 2014) , and financial struggles, she triumphed via IVF in 2018. Born at 33 weeks via C-section, each baby weighed 1.3–1.5 kg; now growing strong at ~2.2 kg.
“When one cries, the others join!” she smiles wearily. Daily: 30–34 diapers + formula tins costing Shs 50,000 each — tough on a teacher’s salary.

With hospital support (1-year insurance, formula, diapers), family help, and well-wishers’ donations, Nakato calls them her miracles. “They make me forget the exhaustion.”
A true story of faith, courage, and hope against all odds! #MiracleQuintuplets #NeverGiveUp
