Police Confirm: ‘Unknown DNA’ Found Inside Nancy Guthrie’s Home — And It Belongs to NO Family Member or Inner Circle
DNA evidence not belonging to Nancy Guthrie or her “close contacts” was discovered at her property, authorities announced.
“DNA other than Nancy Guthrie’s and those in close contact to her has been collected from the property,” the Pima County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) stated to PEOPLE on Friday, Feb. 13.

“Investigators are working to identify who it belongs to. We are not disclosing where that DNA was located.”
Police also confirmed that several gloves   have been recovered during the investigation — with the closest ones found approximately two miles from the home.
“Reports that a glove was found inside the residence or on the property are inaccurate. All collected evidence has been submitted for laboratory analysis,” the PCSD added.

Investigators emphasized: “We are not ruling out any individuals or possibilities.”
The search for 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie (mother of NBC’s Savannah Guthrie) continues as a suspected abduction case, now in its second week with the FBI involved.
