A Child’s Joy Shattered by Bullets
What began as balloons  , cake  , and innocent laughter at a little one’s birthday party in Carver turned into pure horror. Gunfire exploded without mercy—four lives torn apart in seconds.

Two young souls—Benjamin Cowart, 27, and Jalen Pina, 20—were stolen forever. Benjamin died instantly at the scene; Jalen fought but succumbed to his wounds. Two others cling to life, scarred physically and forever emotionally.
The shooter? Nicholas Meuse, 23, the child’s own uncle, who later called 911 himself and confessed. A family celebration became a nightmare of betrayal, rage, and irreversible loss.
