Today, I became a doctor

Today, I became a doctor
Years of sacrifice. Sleepless nights. Endless exams.
I crossed the finish line alone.

I’m an orphan
There were no parents waiting.
No hugs. No applause. No one to say, “We’re proud of you.”
But this achievement still matters.
Because every tear, every struggle, every lonely step brought me here

I carry my parents in my heart, even if they aren’t here to see it
Today, I celebrate quietly — with strength, gratitude, and hope
