Today, I ate a slice of pizza in a hospital bed and practiced smiling like everything was normal.
Some days feel light. Others sink heavy into my chest. At 16, I thought life would be homework, friends, and weekend plans—but my calendar is now made of tests, needles, and waiting.

Still, I’m learning to honor the small wins: a good result, a quiet night, a laugh that finds its way back.
