A Birthday Made of Love

A Birthday Made of Love
Today dawned softer, quieter — and fuller than any celebration money could buy.
While the world chases lights, parties, and wrapped boxes, I found my wealth in a simple kitchen.

I watched my mother prepare a small cupcake, placing each cherry with care. Not from a bakery, not famous — but filled with something priceless: her love.
In that moment, I realized this was the richest feast in the world.
Another year added to my life, and my heart overflows with gratitude.

I ask for no luxury — only to never lose the sparkle in my eyes when receiving a “mommy’s cake.”
Thank You, God, for another year.
Thank you, Mom, for always being my safest home.
